- Justin Timberlake has broken his silence on pictures of him holding hands with co-star Alisha Wainwright, commenting that he "regrets his behaviour".

Justin Timberlake has responded to ~those~ hand-holding pics, which show him and co-star Alisha Wainwright looking a little cosy. ICYMI, last week on November 25, photos emerged from a club in New Orleans, where the actors are on location shooting new movie Palmer, of Alisha with her hand in his.
An eye witness told The Sun at the time, "They were smiling and laughing. At one stage he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg. Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands."
And while Alisha's rep told Cosmopolitan: "There is absolutely no validity to this speculation", Justin has now taken to Instagram to share his side of the story.
In a text post to his 56.8million followers, Justin wrote:
"I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumours that are hurting the people I love.
A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement - but let me be clear - nothing happened between me and my co-star. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focussed on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it."
The actor, 38, has been married to Jessica Biel, 37, since 2017, and they share a four year old son, Silas. So far, Jessica hasn't responded to the photos of her husband, but let's just hope this can all be put to bed now.
